At the easylearn inspiration day 2024, around 160 participants immerse themselves in a world of organized learning. The focus is on lively encounters between customers, input for educational projects, inspiring contributions from our partners and exciting insights into the easylearn world. The day is accompanied by atmospheric music and culinary delights and peaks with the social easylearn night. In a relaxed atmosphere, games with fantastic prizes encourage people to talk to each other and get inspired.

From 01.07.2024, Barbara Rohrer will take over the position of CMO and become a member of the Executive Board. Previously, Barbara was Head of Marketing at easylearn for almost 5 years.

Young talents and graduates have informative discussions with established companies about their career opportunities after graduation at the Kontaktgespräche of the HSLU (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) and the Conecto of the ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Arts). easylearn had the opportunity to meet exciting students and interesting personalities at both fairs. The students were given cherry tomato seeds to grow themselves as a symbol of growing with easylearn.

At one of Europe's largest trade fairs for personnel management and human resources, visitors experience easylearn live in Cologne for the first time. The appearance of easylearn inspires and is at the same time an important milestone to consolidate the presence in the German market.

The latest release 6.4 brings another function for easylearn customers. A wide range of online tests can now be carried out with the "Assessments" option. It has never been easier to check and evaluate learning progress and draw conclusions for even better learning content. In total, more than 600 tasks were implemented with Release 6.4 - from customer requests to adjustments to the complete new development of the Assessments function.

As of version 6.3 released today, classroom training courses can be administered even better. The new "Tasks" function gives course organizers a planning aid to manage and schedule their tasks. And the best part? Thanks to templates, the "ToDo's" can be conveniently duplicated per event. The designer extension "Flexible start page" provides more design options. Application managers can customize the start page of the easylearn Learning Management System even more.

Now easylearn customers from Germany can look forward to even more proximity. With the founding of easylearn deutschland GmbH, easylearn is responding to the growing demand from Germany. Damjan Malbasic will lead the company in Ludwigshafen as Managing Director.

During the lockdown, a large proportion of employees work from their home offices. The consistently positive experiences with remote working have persuaded the management team to allow it after "Cornona" as well. In this way, our employees can work as far as possible where they can process their tasks best and most efficiently.

With the internal release, the completion of easylearn version 6 is entering into a "hot" phase: Before the official delivery to customers, there will now be an extensive test phase with around 1000 test cases to put the new release through its paces.

Our CEO and our CTO have acquired the last company shares from the founding generation. This successfully completed a follow-up process lasting more than 5 years. All shares are now owned by the operationally responsible management and the Board of Directors. This ensures that the company's own corporate strategy towards organic growth can be continued.

easylearn launches the learning app easylearn play. The mobile application was developed in cooperation with ovos GmbH in Vienna and includes extensive functions for playful learning with flashcards. This makes playful learning easy. In addition to the learning mode, easylearn play features gamification elements such as knowledge duels or a live quiz.

LEARNTEC in Karlsruhe is one of the leading trade fairs for digital education in the German-speaking world. In January 2018, easylearn schweiz ag will be taking part at LEARNTEC for the first time, thus taking an important step towards expanding its business activities. 

The new easylearn version 5.5 includes the new "easylearn competence development" application. This allows for the comprehensive and flexible planning and combination of different learning activities such as e-learning courses, external courses, pre-qualifications and classroom courses.

In 2014, not only will we celebrate the company's 20th anniversary, but also invest a lot of time developing new technology for user access. In November easylearn version 5 will be presented with a completely new user interface and responsive design.

At the same time, the company is being renamed "easylearn schweiz ag". This means that the product name and company name are now identical.

As a supplement to e-learning, the easylearn learning platform now also includes event management for the planning and execution of classroom training and blended learning.

The first version of a web-based learning management system (LMS) is being developed under the new product label, easylearn. The first courses that can be imparted via the Internet are also included in the offer.

The company is founded as an ERP manufacturer's spin-off under the name SDN AG and in its first years focusses on the implementation of IT training in the classroom. First, the in-house ERP application is trained and later courses for MS Windows and Office are added.
